The Golden Designs outdoor sauna warranty provides limited manufacturer coverage against qualifying defects in materials and workmanship.
The manufacturer's published outdoor sauna terms specify coverage for the properly maintained wood structure, control panel, applicable wiring harnesses, and lighting for up to five years. The Harvia sauna stove is covered separately under the heater manufacturer's applicable warranty.
Warranty conditions include proper installation, maintenance, and protection from outdoor weather exposure. Coverage excludes certain conditions such as normal wear, improper installation, modifications, and full commercial use.
Warranty eligibility, component-specific coverage, and claim requirements are subject to the manufacturer's current terms.
Is the Golden Designs Arosa designed for outdoor use?
Yes. The Arosa is a traditional barrel sauna designed for outdoor installation. Proper placement, protection from weather exposure, and regular maintenance are important for long-term performance.
Does the sauna include a heater?
Yes. The standard configuration includes a Harvia WALL 6 kW traditional electric sauna heater with built-in controls. An optional 8 kW upgrade is available.
Can the Arosa produce traditional sauna steam?
Yes. The traditional heater supports the use of water on properly heated sauna stones in accordance with Harvia's operating instructions.
What electrical service does the sauna require?
The standard 6 kW heater requires 240V/30A service, while the optional 8 kW heater requires 240V/40A service. A separate 120V/15A supply is required for the lighting controls. Consult a qualified electrician.
What accessories are included?
The Arosa includes a sandglass, thermometer, bucket, and scoop.
Plan the installation before your sauna arrives. With a 477 lb assembled weight and dedicated electrical requirements, proper site preparation is just as important as the sauna itself. Have the installation surface and electrical service ready in advance, and consider a covered outdoor location to help protect the cedar construction from prolonged weather exposure.
